Design Inspiration

The charm of Bagru, a centuries old block printing technique from Rajasthan, lies in its simplicity of colour and pattern. The wooden blocks of design are hand-carved, the colours are natural and the rows of motifs are painstakingly printed by hand.

When I think of Bagru, I think of soft, white cotton saris with simple motifs in red and black. This design is inspired by the beautiful contrast of colours and patterns on the bagru sari and its pallu.

Timeline+

Once you place your order, you will receive an email within 3-4 working days with the design in your selected size along with 3 font options that are carefully chosen to match your design.

After you confirm your selection, it will take us 3-4 weeks to paint, fire, frame and ship your nameplate.

Care+

The tiles are fired after they are painted, which makes the colours permanent and safe from any damage. The tiles can be wiped with a damp cloth.

While the tiles are weather-proof, we recommend placing the nameplate in a covered area to protect the wooden frame from direct rain.
